Living Room w/Mid-Century Sensibility, My small living room receives little lighting why I chose light walls. I have been updating this 80-year old home to make it feel modern. Updated space with new paint colors and furniture has been rearranged. Need to add lighting and few accessories. Unfortunately too large tv and sectional sofa must remain in same space. I plan to install storage unit and plants in sunroom to hold china and accessories. Any suggestions are welcomed.

Open Layout Challenge but with a Budget!, Okay, so open living areas are in demand! But my dilema is how do you decorate it and try to create unique individual spaces, when everything flows to one space! Need help and advice on how I can create a Eclectic Mix of Vintage, Modern, Mid-Century and Transitional styles in one! I have magazines, after magazines, but limited to what I have! After patiently waiting to paint for 2 yrs and fully starting to decorate I am at a Design Slump! :( , Kitchens Design
Mid-Century ME!, We just bought our first home, this is the start to our mid-century modern look for our 50s rambler in a small town with a quite neighborhood! , Living Rooms Design
Thoroughly Mid Century Modern Office, We wanted to marry our love of everything mid century with practicality and functionality in creating our office space. We also use the room to relax and watch tv. The large photo was hung off-center because the computer monitor and swag lamp would have blocked it and we didn't want that., Home Offices Design

Lofty Living , This loft is 972 sq.ft. We created 8.5 ft. partition walls to define a living room, dining room, bedroom, and study. The ceiling ht. is 14 ft. and the windows measure 11 ft. It was a wide open space--we wanted a balance between loft and home. We grabbed the inset panels in the dining room entrance off the street on the Upper East Side of Manhattan--put out for the trash. The floors are mostly original from the turn of the century. We stained them a rich espresso. We wanted a warm, comfortable space!, Living Rooms Design
