This is the bathroom from Hell. I mean it. After a tree fell on the house and took it out a repairman cut too many corners to were black mold and rotten wood have made it useless. Had to replace the floor after falling through. Even after trying to repair it there is still a strip that is open to the outside. The celing and part of the shower wall fell in showing that years of water had rotten the wood letting black mold grow.

Parts of this bathroom were original to the home (1959), including the green cast iron bathtub that was painted white. There was also an abundance of mold growing behind the shower walls. We gutted this room and started over!

Finding mold growing out of control in our master bathroom was quite a scare. Working on a budget, we replaced the floors, sheetrock, counters and bathroom tiles with large 16 x 16 travertine tiles. The fixtures were replaced and we installed new floating glass shower doors. For working in such a small space and on a limited budget, we were quite pleased!
