Under the Sea Nursery, I love the ocean, and wanted to translate its soothing qualities into a space to hopefully help make for a calm baby boy! The colors were initially inspired by the bedding, but some of the amazing handmade gifts I received at my shower have added beautiful purples, greens and oranges to the palette. We hand painted the friendly sea creatures on the walls and bought the dark wood furniture cheaply at Ikea, then embellished with themed hardware.
