My Tuscan Villa, WE LIVE IN A GATED SUBDIVISION OUR HOME BACKS UP TO THE WALL THAT SURROUNDS IT. THE WALL WAS LARGE & REALLY CLOSED THE BACK YARD IN. NO MATTER HOW MUCH LANDSCAPING WE DID IT STILL HAD THAT "YOU'RE IN PRISON FEEL" LOL. SO THE ITALIAN CHEF STARTED COOKING USING MORTAR INSTEAD OF MARSALA......AND BADA BING WE HAVE A PIECE OF ITALY IN OUR OWN BACK YARD, Yards Design

The Fountain Patio, When we talk about blending home and garden this is a perfect example.

Drawing on California's Spanish Colonial architectural heritage, the garden works to enhance the architecture of the home. The plants, common to the Mediterranean, are both colorful and drought tolerant. The use of wrought iron is a tradition directly from the Old World. It is timeless, durable and looks like jewelry.

Tuscan Living Room, Having 12' ceilings I designed a 10' built in with cultured stone above the wall unit. My idea of Tuscan was to bring the outdoors inside and to scale with large wall sconce., Living Rooms Design
Tuscan Harvest kitchen, This is client/friend space. The walls are a gold metallic finish by Valspar that I jokeingly call 24kt gold because it took so much for even coverage. Custom faux finished cabinets for that Old World feel. Floor tiled on a diagonal in a warm tone. We used a budget wise solid surface countertop. The lighting faucet and cabinet fixtures were all changed for a more high-end look. The biggest change was opening the wall into the great-room. Please rate, Kitchens Design
