We bought this home because of its location and view. We replaced all carpet (except bathrooms) with hardwood floors which has improved the look and feel of our home. Each room will eventually have a separate theme (retro kitchen, spa bathrooms, gamer living room, etc) with an overlapping theme of FUN. In addition we hope to highlight pieces around the house which carry sentimental value as they were given to us from family or represent my upbringing in SE Asia. This is our first home and we have much work ahead of us but it will be a fun journey! :)

I created a Super Mario Bros World for my 7 year old son. We used a loft bed with a desk underneath to try to ultilize his space and give him room to actually play in his room. I free handed the background and used removable wall decals for the mario characters.

This basement is very cozy and fun and offers a lot.Although not a huge amount of space we utilized it and made it very fun.
When it comes to decoration, I have to use whatever I can find around the house. This is the family room I have just re-decorated. Paint the side tables to white to match the fireplace. Paint the lamp shades to orange to add some popped color. I also made all the pillows on the sofas and made all the curtains out of $1 fabric.

I took over one bay of my 3 car garage for an exercise room. I left the garage door in place and all the workings behind the wall so a future homeowner can enjoy it or put it back to a garage bay.

This is our "Wii Room". We completed this room for $200 for all furniture and decorations. We had a spare TV and were using our Wii in the Living Room but did not like having to move the coffee table everytime we played. We use this room mostly to play Wii games, however it also is used to play cards with friends and to accomodate extra guests. The furniture is easily moved to make more room.
