Bathroom remodel on a very small budget, We purchased our home one year ago and the existing master bath was a NIGHTMARE. I almost did not buy the house just because it was so bad. We had a really tight budget so I had to buy from home improvment stores cragislist etc to get this done. I also used ceramic tile that looked like real stone vs a more expensive material. I did make a expensive mistake along the way with the glass so hopefully I can help others by giving them advise to help them save money., Bathrooms Design

Kitchen on a budget, When we purchased our 140 year old home it was a wreck. Frustrated that we were quoted astronomical prices to renovate our kitchen we decided to do it on our own.
Because we did all of the work ourselves the entire kitchen cost 10K. The corbels above the stove are actually fancy shelf supports from a home decorating store and painted to match the cabinets.
Key here: Kitchen cabinets were purchased off ebay (from a guy who's still selling them) and installed by us. We had them spray painted in Benjamin Moore's 'Muslin'. The walls are Benjamin Moore's Natural linen so it won't look all matchy matchy., Kitchens Design
Red, Red, Red, This is a living room for a 23 year old bachelor. His favorite color is.....you guessed it.... RED! Not completely finished yet. I am going to paint the fireplace bricks white., Living Rooms Design

Finally! A Bathroom to Love!, Older home, new space. We finally finished off our 2nd floor after 9 years in this home. Wood floors, granite counters and tub surround, walk-in travertine shower with heated fan so 2 people can shower without one getting cold, painted PVC crown molding in shower and door moldings in wet areas to prevent rot, skylights, walk-in closet and lots of windows overlooking the woods. I love my new space!, Bathrooms Design
